Nisbit / Duck Lake (The pastures) Camping Area
Duck Lake – Burch Trail – The Map location is the main trail head parking and unloading and camping are. There are several areas in this region for camping/unloading. We would recommend exploring the area by vehicle to find an area suitable for you.
* This area is known as “The Pastures” and there are cattle at large.
- Camping – once you reach the pin on the map, look for a campsite in that area. There are a several “backcountry” camping spots in the area, (no facilities). I would recommend exploring the area a little and find a site suitable to your needs. Just remember to take your trash with you when you leave. You can check both sides of the road,
- Trails – The Trails around here are well treed, and mostly sandy trails, There are a few lakes that you can get to using the trails. Trails begin at the camping area, and there are different trails all over the area, in some areas you may encounter a gate, open the gate and continue on the trail, just remember to close the gate behind you.
- How to get there – From the Town of Duck Lake Head North on 783 (open the map and zoom in)
- * note Our Favourite camping area is called Blizzards Burrow and is Located here (52.9360243, -106.2120947)
- There is a main road travelling through the area i would suggest riding up the road and exploring all the trails intersecting on this main road.
